Cleanings, fluoride & sealants

The best filling is the one your child never needs.

The quiet work that keeps kids out of the chair: cleanings, fluoride varnish, sealants and habits that stick.

For parents

Cavities are the most common chronic disease of childhood — and almost all of them are preventable. Prevention is the steady, gentle work that keeps small risks from turning into big treatment: cleanings, fluoride, sealants on back teeth, and simple routines that fit real family life. We match each piece to your child's age and needs, so it always feels manageable.

For kids

“Brush two times a day, two minutes each time. You can be the boss of your teeth.”

What happens

Gentle cleanings

We polish away plaque with kid-sized tools, at your child's pace, with plenty of breaks along the way.

Fluoride varnish

A quick paint-on coating that helps strengthen enamel. The whole thing takes about a minute.

Sealants

A thin protective coat painted over the deep grooves of back teeth — where most kids' cavities start.

Habit coaching

Toothpaste amounts, snack timing, bottles and sippy cups — practical tips matched to your child's age, never a lecture.

Parents ask

How much toothpaste should my child use?

For under age 3, a smear the size of a grain of rice. For ages 3 to 6, a pea-sized amount. Keep helping with brushing until your child can do it well on their own.

Is fluoride safe for kids?

Yes — professional fluoride is used in very small amounts, and it's one of the most effective ways to prevent cavities. If you'd like to talk it through first, we're happy to.

What are sealants?

A thin coating painted onto the chewing surfaces of back teeth, so food and germs stay out of the grooves. There's no drilling and no numbing.
