Meet your child’s dentist
Dr. Fahra Dawood, DDS
Board-certified pediatric dentist
Dr. Dawood has spent her career with the kids other offices find hardest to treat: the anxious ones, the wiggly ones, and children with autism, Down syndrome and other special needs. That's who she trained for.
She creates positive, fear-free dental experiences for children of all ages and needs — a commitment that began with her volunteer work with the Special Olympics in New York.
“That smile at the end of treatment, when a child confesses it wasn’t so scary, is my favorite part.”

Care from first tooth to teens
What we do
Your first visit
Count teeth. Ride the chair. Pick a sticker.
The first visit should happen by your child’s first birthday. It’s short, gentle and mostly about getting to know each other.
- 1
Tell us about your child
Book online or by phone. There's a box for anything we should plan for: worries, sensory needs, a past hard visit.
- 2
Get ready at home
Read a dentist book together, play 'count the teeth' with a stuffed animal, and keep your words simple and positive.
- 3
A gentle first visit
A tour, a ride in the chair, a look at teeth and gums, and a cleaning if your child is ready. You stay the whole time.
- 4
A plan you understand
What we saw, what to do at home, and when to come back. Plus a sticker, obviously.
